A Word From Your Pastor
Hats off to all who made our Homecoming Picnic a great success! We want to acknowledge in a special way Rebecca Bucknam, our PSR director and Cindy Barbour for their leadership in organizing the event, the Knights of Columbus, and all who assisted with the picnic to provide our parish the opportunity to “build together a church worth coming back to.” The food was great! Thanks again to the many who made this happen.
Happy Labor Day holiday to all parishioners and your families. Let us pray for all those who labor on our behalf in many unknown or unappreciated ways.
Our Pre-School program begins on September 8. Please keep our teachers, children and families in your prayers.
Our PSR program begins next Sunday, Sept. 12. We look forward to having our children back in-person.
Of course, we continue to pray for our brave service men and women who lost their lives in Afghanistan, along with all the many - Americans and Afghans - who have not yet been able to leave the country. May peace yet reign in that sad land.
Real Presence Real Future Presents Parish Consultation Sessions
As part of the ongoing strategic process for Real Presence Real Future, the Diocese of Columbus will host Parish Consultation Sessions this fall. Two sessions will be held via ZOOM videoconferencing for each parish.
Parish Consultation Sessions are a vital part of the planning process
that encourages parishioners to offer insights and perspective on the future planning of their parish. Parishioner feedback during these sessions will be used to draft new models for review by parishioners in early 2022 until new models are approved. No decisions have been made regarding any parish and none will be made until feedback is gathered from parishioners in the ZOOM consultation process.
Registration is required
by logging onto
or use link below.
Even if you are not able to participate, register anyway. All registrants will receive a link to the recording via email after the session.
Parishioner participation is critical
to helping shape the future of the Diocese of Columbus.

With the new school year upon us, we are renewing our Youth Ministry (YM) at St. Edwards and we need your help. We are asking you to please consider the following options and are asking for your help, wherever you can!
PRAY for our young people, PRAY for our Youth Ministry program, and PRAY that we find a Full-Time, permanent Youth Minister to lead us.
JOIN our Youth Leadership Team!
If you are a High School youth who wants to give input and help to lead our Youth Ministry Program, we are looking for you! You can serve in whatever fashion best suits your individual gifts, but you can help. Pray about this, please!
) Join our YM Core Team!
Here, we are looking for young adults, or parents of young children who will commit to regular interaction with our teens as part of the weekly program. This means sharing your time, sharing your faith, and providing your listening ear at our Sunday evening program. You don't have to be there every Sunday, but this is a regular commitment.
Join our YM Support Team!
This commitment is for
who is interested in serving our youth. Any age, any talent set, and any amount of time that works for you. This team provides food, transportation, supervision, and logistical needs for our Youth Ministry program.
Again, our first and foremost need is prayer, so
please begin that immediately!
If you would like to serve in any of the other "Team" commitments, please contact the Parish Office for details, or send an Email to
God Bless and thank you for your prayerful consideration to help our youth!!
