Janos (John) Horvath of Granville, Ohio passed away peacefully on May 4, 2025 at the age of 89. Born on December 19, 1935 , he was the beloved son of the late János and Mária (Klujeber) Horváth. Janos was born in Magyaralmás, Hungary and was a loving older brother to, Zoltán Horváth (Edit) and Károly Horvath (Éva) who both preceded him in death. Janos lived a full and vibrant life surrounded by his loving family. He will be remembered for his kind spirit, sense of humor and unwavering love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends from 4 - 7 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2025 at The Newark Chapel of Henderson-Van Atta-Stickle Funeral & Cremation Service, 59 N. Fifth Street, Newark. A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Maple Grove Cemetery, Granville. Memorial contributions can be made in Janos' name to a charity of your choice.
