Belief in Jesus is not simply having a concept of Who He Is. Rather, it is a living relationship. To know Him is not simply to know about Him. Faith puts us directly in touch with the Risen Lord, and His Spirit comes to us to enable us to continue His work. We can look forward to “greater things” because Heaven and Earth are connected.

May is the Month of Our Lady
May is widely recognized as the month of Mary, the Mother of God. This month is a special time to show devotion to Our Lady through practices such as praying the Rosary and participating in faith opportunities at St. Edward Church. This Sunday, consider joining the Knights of Columbus for a Rosary between the Masses, which they lead each First Sunday, or attend our May Crowning before the 10:45 am Mass.

TEENS: Help Us Serve Our Community
Finish the school year on a high note by joining the St. Edward Youth Group for its last Homeless Outreach before summer on Sunday, May 3 at 2 pm in the Parish Kitchen. Teens in grades 7–12 are encouraged to attend (and bring a friend) to practice cooking while bringing some joy to our community!
If you're not available at 2 pm to help cook, you can still come to the Salvation Army at 5 pm to serve, or sign up to donate ingredients below.

A Fresh Start
Do you have gently used clothes and items that you've been meaning to donate? This weekend, the thrift store is coming to you. On Saturday and Sunday, the St. Vincent de Paul Donations Truck will be in the church parking lot to collect items for their thrift store. It's a great opportunity to give your things a second life while supporting those in need. Thank you for your generosity!
YOUNG ADULTS: Gear Up For Game Night
Take a night off from work, chores, and everyday responsibilities to meet new people and have fun! Don't miss our first Young Adult Game Night, happening next Tuesday, May 5 at 6 pm in Enke Parish Hall (please note the updated location). Get ready for an evening of cards, games, snacks, and good company. Open to adults ages 21–40.
